# CLI reference

> Commands for shipping and operating FixCodeNow CLI apps.

Install the CLI with [Install the CLI](/install-cli).

| Command | What it does |
| - | - |
| `fixcodenow login` | Authenticate through your browser |
| `fixcodenow logout` | Revoke and remove cached credentials |
| `fixcodenow whoami` | Show the authenticated account |
| `fixcodenow ship [dir]` | Queue a directory for deployment |
| `fixcodenow list` | List CLI-origin apps, services, endpoints, and status |
| `fixcodenow logs <target>` | Show deployment diagnostics |
| `fixcodenow connect <deployment-id>/<service>` | Open a local port to a private service |
| `fixcodenow stop [target]` | Stop an app and keep its data |
| `fixcodenow delete [target]` | Permanently delete an app and its data |
| `fixcodenow update` | Update the CLI |
| `fixcodenow version` | Print version and build information |

`<target>` can be a deployment ID, public URL, or unambiguous project name.

These commands never see or operate on apps created in Chat.

Run `fixcodenow <command> --help` to inspect the help text installed with your CLI.
